Level 3 OFQUAL RQF 3 dacombined Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work course

   


Description


This 3 days combined Level 3 OFQUAL RQF Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work training course complies with the guidelines and criteria as defined by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) in respect of the 1981 (First Aid) Regulations. Delegates will learn the skills and knowledge to provide First Aid treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner.


The topics covered in this combined Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work training course are in accordance with current guidelines published by the Resuscitation Council (UK).

 

This combined course would be useful where some delegates are required to undertake only the 1 day Level 3 Emergency First Aid at work course while the other delegates are required to complete the full 3 days Level 3First aid at work course. This combined course will avoid the need to arrange two separate courses thereby reducing costs and the time for an extra day of training.

 


Duration

 

This combined training course is taught for 18 hours over 3 days and consists of theoretical and practical sessions. This 18 hours combined training course can also be spread over a maximum of 10 weeks, ensuring that each session is a minimum of two hours (subject to extra cost).

Assessment


Assessment is ongoing by the instructor. The qualification is assessed through the completion of a written workbook, practical demonstration and oral questioning.

 

 

Certification

 

OFQUAL accredited RQF Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work course completion certificates for each course lasting three years for each course will be emailed within 48 hours to the lead person subject to successful completion of the course by the delegate.


To reduce costs, HSE compliant course completion certificates  issued by  MEDISAFE TRAINING lasting 3 years can also be arranged but this must be made known to us  at the time of the booking and prior to the commencement of the training course as the course will have to be delivered as a non-accredited course.

 

 

Important Information

 

Please note that delegates must be at least 16 years of age and physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline and must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment.

 

Delegates should have good English literacy and numeracy skills to understand the course and to complete the assessments.

 

Please also note that ID will need to be checked at the outset of the course for candidate verification process.

 

  • The training room should be quiet and of appropriate size.
  • Staff should be off work and not expected to be on duty.
  • Staff attending should remain on the course for the entire duration of the training course.
