Fire Risk Assessment Awareness  course

 

 

Description

 

Fire Safety Training is a legal requirement.  This Fire Risk Assessment course is taught according to the UK Fire Legislation which  requires all employers to ensure that employees are provided with adequate fire safety training.  This   course is  designed for people who need to comply with the Fire Safety  requirements of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 - often simply called the Fire Safety Order or FSO.  Please note that this awareness course is  a generalised   Fire Risk Assessment principles course which provides a guide and information on the different aspects of fire risks and  assessment in accordance with the 5 steps of 1) Fire hazards identification, 2) People at risk, 3) Evaluate and act, 4)  Record, plan and train and 5) Review. This course  is not intended to provide fire risk assessor qualifications to the delegates. If you require an actual fire risk assessment specific to your business premises then please contact a fully qualified  fire risk  assessor.

Assessment is ongoing by the instructor.


 

Certification

 

A HSE compliant certificate of course completion from MEDISAFE TRAINING   will be emailed within 48 hours to the lead person subject to successful completion of the course by the delegate. Hard copy certificates can be provided at additional cost per certificate.



Important Information 

 

Please note that it is a requirement that candidates must be at least 16 years of age and physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline and must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment.

 

Candidates should have good English literacy and numeracy skills to understand the course and to complete the assessments.

 

Please also note that  ID will need to be checked at the outset of the course for candidate verification process. 

 

  • The training room should be quiet and of appropriate size.
  • Staff should be off work and not expected to be on duty.
  • Staff attending should remain on the course for the entire duration of the training course.
