Description
This Level 3 OFQUAL RQF combined Emergency First Aid at Work and Emergency Paediatric First Aid training course complies with the guidelines and criteria as defined by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) in respect of the 1981 (First Aid) Regulations. Delegates will learn the skills and knowledge to provide Emergency First Aid treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner. This combined course is suitable for those delegates who have to deal with both adult and paeditraic first aid emergencies at their workplace.The topics covered in this course are in accordance with current guidelines published by the Resuscitation Council (UK).
Duration
This combined Level 3 OFQUAL RQF EFAW and EPFA training course is taught for 9 hours and 5 minutes over 1 day and consists of theoretical and practical sessions. This course can also be delivered spread over a maximum of 3 weeks, ensuring that each session is a minimum of two hours (subject to extra cost). The class ratio for this qualification is a maximum of 12 learners to 1 Trainer/Assessor.

Certification
OFQUAL accredited RQF Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work and Emergency Paediatric First Aid course completion certificates for each course lasting three years for each course will be emailed within 48 hours to the lead person subject to successful completion of the course by the delegate.
To reduce costs, HSE compliant course completion certificates issued by MEDISAFE TRAINING lasting 3 years can also be arranged but this must be made known to us at the time of the booking and prior to the commencement of the training course as the course will have to be delivered as a non-accredited course.
Important Information
Please note that delegates must be at least 16 years of age and physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline and must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment.
Delegates should have good English literacy and numeracy skills to understand the course and to complete the assessments.
Please also note that ID will need to be checked at the outset of the course for candidate verification process.
